Engaging Children in Food Allergy Awareness
Help children understand food allergies, build empathy and responsibility within groups. Our Allergy School team, in collaboration with LMP Group, a national organisation that develops education programmes and activities, delivered this food allergy awareness activity pack across eight sessions for young people transitioning from Year 6 to secondary school.
These activities were designed to help pupils understand what food allergies are, how to recognise the signs of an allergic reaction, how to respond in an emergency, and how to support their peers who live with food allergies in everyday school life.
